In Outlook, click on the "File" menu in the top menu and press the "Add + Account" button on the page that opens

"Manually configure server settings or additional server types"

Select the "Next" button.

Connect to your POP or IMAP server to send and receive e-mail messages

In the window that opens, the "General" tab should only have your e-mail address written on the screen.

On the "Outgoing Server" tab, we click on the "Require authentication for my outgoing (SMTP)" Tile.  "Use same name settings as my incoming mail server" will be automatically selected.

Click on the "Advanced" tab for the next step.

We do not make any changes to this "connection" tab

We set the number of days to keep a copy of the incoming mails on the server in the delivery section. This is automatic 14 days and you can change this time in this section

Then click on the "OK" button to switch to the mail test screen

If the "Test Account Settings" section in the pop-up window is marked as green on the side of the incoming and outgoing server, then Setup has completed successfully.
